⁴¹ Then, taking hold of the child’s hand, He tells her, “Talitha koum,”^[a] which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up.” ⁴² Immediately, the girl stood up and began to walk around! (She was twelve years old.) And they were overcome with astonishment. ⁴³ But He gave them strict orders that no one should know about this, and He said something to eat should be given to her.
